I'm a product manager by profession. Alongside this site and guiding travelers through India, I'm looking to move specifically into product management roles in travel.

Most travel PM postings ask for "travel background," and what I bring isn't industry experience at a travel company — it's 20 countries, most of India state by state, trips ranging from a ₹5,000 backpacking run to the tip of India to guided stays in Goa — solo, with friends, working remotely from the Himalayas mid-pandemic. That range means I've hit most of the friction points a travel product is supposed to solve, from the user side, repeatedly.

One concrete example, rather than just a claim: I designed and built the trip-matching flow for AP Explores' guide service — a structured intake form that captures traveler intent (regions, interests, budget, fitness needs, prior India experience) and routes it into a quoting process, reusing the same regional data model that already powers the site's interactive world and India maps.
